Gluten Free Yorkshire Pudding Recipe

Here it is… the much anticipated Gluten Free Yorkshire Pudding recipe!

Perfected over many a roast dinner, I just couldn’t live without Yorkshire Pudding in my life. I am a Yorkshire girl after all.

So here it is my Ultimate Gluten Free Yorkshire Pudding Recipe!

(Makes 12 Yorkshire Puddings)

You will need:

  • A Muffin Tray
  • 12 tsps of Oil – you can use pretty much any oil that heats well, I usually use Vegetable Oil
  • 120g Cornflour
  • 20g Gluten Free Plain Flour
  • 200ml Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • Pinch of Salt

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl or a food processor if you have one. You may want to sieve and add the flour gradually to avoid lumps if you are not using a food processor
  • Pour into a jug (this makes it easy to our into the tray)
  • Place into the fridge for up to 12 hours – having the mixture cold increases the likelihood of your puds rising properly so place the mixture in the fridge overnight if you can or even just half an hour if you can’t make it that far in advance will help
  • Pour oil into each section of your muffin tray and place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes, have your heat at 200-250 degrees C
    Take your tray our of the oven and pour your mixture equally into the tray as quickly as possible and back in the oven as quickly as possible. Your mixture/oil should bubble and make a noise when it touches if your oil is hot enough
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes, don’t open the oven door during cooking
  • Remove from oven and serve!
